Sound Project Blog Post

 Sound or the lack of sound is very important to a scene in a film because it makes up the ambience and the atmosphere. Sound or the lack of sound can bring different emotions and impact to the scenes, without it, it would be very hard to create something like suspense or build up.


It was not that difficult to come up with sound ideas for a story without visuals because sound can still bring emotion, even without any visual aid, such as audiobooks. It was just making up a story, then removing the visuals and just keeping the sounds.


I believe my group was able to create a sound story that the audience could understand because I believe it was very coherent. It was pretty understandable to follow and I think there was a intelligible plot to the audio story as well.

  We chose the font because it creates a mysterious aura around the film and the corners surrounding the title try to create a older feel and we wanted a simple yet iconic by creating a sleek and thin design . We went with a black background to create a sense of eeriness and fear . We arrived at this decision by talking about what the film is to us , and what it represents and what a physical manifestation of it would look like and we all brought our ideas together and created this title card . this is a prototype we made to get a rough idea of what we wanted it to look like, we then later went back and revisited it and made it look better and more clean.
