 Clip 1- Rise

The shots follow the beat of the music

The framing and camera angles are very good 

Transitions are smooth

The different shots all blend together well

Camera is very steady

Editing is seamless

It was able to tell a story without dialogue


Clip 2- Dear Lover

I think these clips all showed me interesting and useful ways to angle and shoot scenes, as well as edit them. Since my job in the production will mostly be camera work and editing, I think taking notes from what they did could be beneficial in the making of our movie opening, these all helped me think and plan out how some of our scenes will be shot, as well as what type of music and editing tricks I can use.

  We chose the font because it creates a mysterious aura around the film and the corners surrounding the title try to create a older feel and we wanted a simple yet iconic by creating a sleek and thin design . We went with a black background to create a sense of eeriness and fear . We arrived at this decision by talking about what the film is to us , and what it represents and what a physical manifestation of it would look like and we all brought our ideas together and created this title card . this is a prototype we made to get a rough idea of what we wanted it to look like, we then later went back and revisited it and made it look better and more clean.
